Every JHIMS R6-U is built with world-class components from leading global brands.
The JHIMS R6-U UV laser marking machine is deployed across mission-critical electronics manufacturing sectors worldwide.
Permanent laser marking on ECU boards, sensor modules, and power distribution units for full lifecycle traceability. Our R6-U meets automotive IATF 16949 traceability requirements with unique 2D Data Matrix codes that withstand under-hood temperatures up to 150 degrees C. Typical cycle time of 5-7 seconds per board with 99.9% first-pass read rate.
High-speed marking on smartphone PCBs, wearable device flex circuits, and IoT module boards. The R6-U handles multi-panel boards with array marking functionality, engraving up to 24 individual QR codes on a single panel in one automated cycle. Supports fine-pitch marking down to 1.2mm x 1.2mm for ultra-compact wearables.
FDA UDI (Unique Device Identification) compliant marking for medical PCBs, implantable device controllers, and diagnostic equipment. The UV cold-marking process creates no thermal stress, preserving the integrity of sensitive medical-grade components. Full audit trail logging for regulatory compliance documentation.
High-contrast marking on aluminum-core LED PCBs and ceramic LED substrates. The 355nm UV wavelength achieves excellent absorption on metal-clad and ceramic surfaces, producing crisp, machine-readable codes. Compatible with both rigid and flexible LED strip manufacturing processes.
UV laser marking operates at a wavelength of 355nm, which falls in the ultraviolet spectrum. Unlike CO2 (10,600nm) or fiber (1,064nm) lasers that rely on thermal effects to mark materials, UV lasers use a photochemical process called “cold marking.” The high-energy UV photons directly break molecular bonds on the material surface, resulting in exceptionally clean, high-contrast marks with virtually zero heat-affected zone (HAZ).
This cold-marking characteristic makes UV lasers ideal for PCB marking because it eliminates the risk of delamination, copper trace damage, or component thermal stress. The 0.03mm spot size enables sub-millimeter barcode and text marking, while the 360-degree marking angle provides complete flexibility for barcode orientation on densely populated boards.
Key advantages of UV laser technology: Cold processing (no thermal damage), ultra-fine resolution (0.04mm minimum line width), wide material compatibility (PCB, FPC, ceramic, glass, plastics, metals), permanent and chemical-resistant marks, zero consumables, and environmentally friendly operation with no inks, solvents, or chemical waste.
Every R6-U laser marking machine undergoes a rigorous manufacturing and quality assurance process at our Shenzhen factory. The production workflow includes: precision frame welding and stress-relief annealing, CNC-machined base plate mounting, component-level incoming inspection, modular sub-assembly testing (servo, vision, laser, conveyor), full system integration, 72-hour burn-in test, laser calibration and EZCAD 9-point/25-point correction, camera distortion and angle calibration, and final CPK capability study with statistical process control documentation.
Quality certifications: ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturing facility. CE compliance for European market access. Each machine ships with a complete quality dossier including CPK test report, calibration certificates, component traceability records, and factory acceptance test (FAT) documentation. Our 36-person R&D team continuously improves machine performance based on field data from installations across 30+ countries worldwide.
Pre-shipment testing: Every R6-U runs a minimum 10,000-cycle marking test with 100% barcode readability verification before packaging. Machines are shipped in custom wooden crates with vibration isolation for safe international transport.
